Half the struggle is understanding what gives fire life, the other half is understanding how to source suitable materials to make it. If you can make fire, you can cook food, purify water to keep hydrated, make tools, create light, make a settlement just like the Anglo-Saxons did. Remember, knowledge you can carry everywhere, a lighter you can’t!

Description
Each 2.5hr session will cover:
- Arrival – Safety Brief
- Fire – Explanation, demo, have a go of various methods, which can be used to make fire – At least including Flint & Steel, Fire Steel, but could also include safe chemicals, Sun, etc…
- Fire – Demo of the bow drill producing and ember and being blown to flame.
- Fire – All fire extinguished as soon as blown to flame.
- Fire – Dangers, Responsibility, and permissions
- Water – Explanation, demo, have a go making a water filter using materials provided.
- Water – First to make awarded points
- Water – Most filtered awarded points
- Water – Cleanest Filtered awarded points
