Mothers Day Wilderness Experience
Mum’s can get Back to Wilderness too!!!
This runs on the 17th & 18th March, the weekend after Mothers day
So you get to spend the real mothers day with mum!
Why not get Mum something a little different this year
…more than just a gift, an experience she’ll keep for the rest of her life. |
This one day, one night course, is designed to be educational & fun, but the focus is on mum having a fantastic wilderness experience.
Starting with the basics, safely learning to use cutting tools in the woods, mum will know learn how to make a woodland mallet and or tent peg to take away with her. With a little effort & plenty of guidance & help, mum can begin to build up an appetite as she creates her own shelter, where she’ll sleep snug as a bug that evening.
While relaxing with a hot brew, mum will be shown various fire lighting methods, getting to have a go herself too.
A hands on demonstration of a range of simple but effective survival traps followed by a choice of game preparation, for lunch. As a venison stew is slowly cooked for dinner, we’ll take things down a peg, as we go & explore the woods on a walk and talk about natural navigation & foraging.
The following morning, mum will wake to a hot kettle & fire & will make her own damper bread, to have with her bacon and eggs cooked over the fire. We’ll collapse the shelters and can head off for a spot of archery, at the onsite range finishing at around noon on the Sunday.
£120 for Mum and one Child free, if you wish to bring additional children there is an additional charge of £30 – Max 2 Children per Adult, minimum age 8 yrs old.
